Michael D. Michalik is the Chief Technology Officer of Antara Group, an Information Technology management consultancy focused on the Internet-as-a-Service segment and is part of an elite group of executives from both sides of the customer service / provider divide and provides expertise as interim C-level officers or voice-of-experience advisor. His clients include Private and Public Equity firms, emerging service providers, SMB, and enterprise clients. He is an experienced IT professional with extensive knowledge in Cloud Computing platforms, cloud systems integration and cloud-based managed services, particularly in an extremely high usage, high volume global environments. With over 20 years of IT industry experience, the last 10 years have been specifically focused on Cloud based Private, Public, and Hybrid service implementations which has enabled him to focus on building successful Cloud Systems Integration and Managed Service operations.
Mr. Michalik is also the Founder and CEO of Cirrhus9, a Cloud Computing Company. He is responsible for building the company into a leader in the cloud computing business solutions service market along with setting the vision for future growth. Cirrhus9 has a national presence that provides Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Cloud Based Managed services to a range of industries, from SMB to Fortune 500 companies.
Previously, Mr. Michalik served as a senior advisor in the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence division of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals where he designed and ran an extensive R&D data warehouse which enabled the company’s approximately 10,000 scientists to quickly migrate data through the entire database. As a result, they were able to instantly share all research and information company wide.
